PSC Conducts Re-Orientation for Permanent Secretaries

The one day induction of new and redeployed Permanent Secretaries successfully ended in Harare laying a solid foundation for the achievement of Vision 2030 as enunciated by H.E. the President, Cde Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa.

Two bold tasks were adopted to drive Zimbabwe’s transformation agenda from current challenges. The first task is the December deadline for submissions of transformative Strategic Plans complete with the requisite envisaged culture change. The other one is the submission of Annual Budgets and related Work Flow Plans by January 2019 that separate quick wins from the rest of the plans.

The induction was attended by Chairperson Service Commissions, Dr. Vincent Hungwe; Deputy Chairperson Service Commission, Ambassador Mary Muchada Commissioners; Permanent Secretaries, among them the new Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Permanent Secretary, Ambassador James Manzou along with of the Directors from the Ministry, Mrs P. Nyagura (Human Resources) and Mr. G.G. Gapare (Policy Research, Communications and Training).
