Zimbabwe passed the Draft Constitution through a national referendum held on 16 March, 2013. The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) announced that there were 3,079,966 votes (94, 49%) for the Draft Constitution. 179,489 (5.51%) of the votes were against it with 56,627 ballots rejected.
